Junior Analyst (Internship)
Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth market, industry, and company research
- Build comprehensive and complex financial valuation models, including discounted cash flow, comparable company, and precedent transaction, without the use of templates
- Prepare company, industry, and market briefing documents
- Aid with preparation of engagement letters and agency agreements
- Use relevant third-party date services and software to research and financial analysis
- Apply knowledge of accounting principles to inform financial analysis, including International Financial Reporting Standards and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
- Use Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook to complete cloud-based computer-based task
Qualifications
- Our internships are open to individuals who have successfully completed undergraduates studies, and pursuing a Chartered Financial Analyst and or Graduate (Masters) Degree.
Skills and Requirements
- Knowledge of investment banking processes and related industry practices
- Must be able to adapt and prioritize, meeting deadlines, in a fast-paced environment
- Must have a positive, professional attitude and always show professionalism
- Must be able to work well independently with an ability to work collaboratively with others
- Must be able to keep confidentiality, use judgment, and work with minimal supervision
- Should be highly motivated, independent but able to work within a team in an environment that is fast paced and rapidly changing
